If you've been wondering what will fill that "Love Island"-shaped hole in your TV schedule, then you're bound to be thrilled with the latest reality TV news. ITV confirmed on 5 Sept. that it has commissioned an all stars edition of the show in place of the Winter "Love Island" series. It will take place in the South African villa in early 2024, but instead of a new batch of Islanders, it will see some familiar faces from seasons past looking for a second chance at finding love.

"After 10 ratings busting seasons of Love Island on ITV2, we're delighted to be able to celebrate a decade of the number one dating show on television with the first ever series of Love Island: All Stars," Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller, said in a press release. "Set in our luxurious South African Villa, I know the audience will welcome back some of the most iconic UK Islanders, as they set out in pursuit of love all over again in a brand new version of our worldwide hit."

This new format is the latest spinoff from the "Love Island" franchise. It was confirmed earlier this summer that "Love Island Games" will also be taking to our screens, albeit commissioned by US channel Peacock rather than ITV. Presented by Maya Jama and her lust-worthy wardrobe, no doubt, it will see past contestants from the UK, US, and Australian versions battle in a series of games in Fiji. Plus, Davina McCall hosts ITV's "My Mum, Your Dad" which has been dubbed "Love Island" for grown-ups as parents, nominated by their children, head to a villa to find love.

Only one couple will be crowned the next winners of "Love Island: All Stars" following Jess and Sammy's win this summer, but who could they be? We've already seen two former Islanders slo-mo walk through those iconic villa doors once again. Kady McDermott, who originally appeared in series two in 2016, returned this summer for the tenth series, but failed to find love. While Adam Collard, who gained a reputation as a bit of a player in series four in 2018, returned in summer 2022 and coupled up with Paige Thorne. But their connection didn't last for long outside of the villa.

Could we see Megan Barton-Hanson from series four make a raunchy return? Perhaps Dr Alex will be looking for love again? Or maybe Maura Higgins will take the lead in coupling up with a former Islander? Read on to see some of the Islanders we'd love to make a comeback.
