Mitch is Zoey's father and her rock. He has PSP, a muscular disease that renders him unable to speak. Instead, he communicates by typing phrases on a computer. Throughout season one, he gains a voice through Zoey's gift, which helps Zoey patch up her parents' relationship. Sadly, at the end of season one, Mitch passes away.
