Maggie is Zoey's mother. She helps takes care of Mitch at her own expense and later works as Simon's wedding planner. She also runs a garden design business that she founded with Mitch. At the end of season one, Maggie is overcome with grief while preparing Mitch's funeral, which happens right after their anniversary.
