Aimee's storyline is one of the most heartbreaking — and sadly realistic — of the season. After a stranger assaults her on a bus, she struggles to deal with her trauma or even acknowledge it for what it is. She starts walking everywhere, unable to return to the scene of this horrible event. In the end, though, all of the girls get on the bus with her after sharing their own experiences with harassment and assault. Feeling supported, Aimee is able to begin healing from her trauma.
