The former bully has a tough road in season two. Having been sent off to military school by his overbearing father, he's soon expelled when he's framed by his bunkmates for keeping a stash of marijuana. After returning home, Adam starts spending time with Eric, while still trying to figure out his sexuality. Adam realises that he's bisexual and very attracted to Eric, but Eric turns him down, explaining that he doesn't want to be with someone he can't be with in public. Adam winds up making a big gesture at the end of the season, interrupting the school play to ask Eric, publicly, to hold his hand. At the end of season two, Eric chooses Adam over Rahim.
