A double-booking leads to romance in Josie Silver's One Night on the Island. Dating columnist Cleo Wilde books a solo retreat on a small Irish island in hopes of finding a new direction for her career just in time for her 30th birthday. Having to share her quaint accommodations with American Mack Sullivan, who is fleeing his troubles back home and tracing his roots in Ireland, definitely wasn't part of her plan. But since the ferry only arrives on the island once a week, Cleo and Mack are stuck together for now, and although things get off to a rocky start, it's not long before the mismatched pair realises they have more in common than they thought.
