Beginning at a Blockbuster on New Year's Eve 1999, The Night Shift by Alex Finlay unravels the mystery of two interconnected incidents in a small town. Just before the millennium, four teens are working at a Blockbuster when they're attacked. Only one of them survives. Now, 15 years later, four more teens in the same town are attacked while working a late shift at an ice cream parlor. Again, only one of them survives. This time FBI agent Sarah Keller is called in to unravel how these two cases are connected, and find the killer who is still on the loose.
