10 Major Fashion Moments You Can Expect to See From the Royal Family in 2018

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting married on May 19 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Reportedly, 2,640 members from the public will be invited on to the grounds for the wedding, which will also be televised.

Fashion girls are patiently waiting for any news to drop on Meghan's wedding dress. Design houses such as Erdem, Ralph & Russo, Roland Mouret, and Alexander McQueen have been thrown around with speculation escalating as the wedding date nears. Though the royal family has not confirmed who Meghan will be wearing, we're pretty sure the gown will be a classic yet modern look. After all, Meghan wore this trendy navy dress for her engagement portrait.

You'll remember Kate absolutely glowing in her blush-coloured Alexander McQueen dress on Pippa Middleton's wedding day. Judging from Kate's polished track record in fashion, and her wedding guest outfits past, her ensemble for Meghan's wedding will no doubt go down in history.

To make the occasion even more interesting, the Duchess of Cambridge will likely have just given birth a month prior to attending Meghan's May nuptials. All eyes will definitely be on Kate's postmaternity style.

While everyone will be looking at Meghan's wedding dress on her big day, we can't forget about Prince Harry's ensemble. The royal is expected to wear his military uniform (he was in the forces for 10 years) much like Prince William did on his own wedding day. He and Prince Harry both wore custom-made sweatproof military attire when Prince William said his "I dos" to Kate. We have a feeling the men will look extra spiffy on May 19.

We can't forget Prince George and Princess Charlotte's roles in Meghan and Prince Harry's wedding. Prince George is rumoured to serve as page boy while Princess Charlotte will be one of the flower girls at the ceremony. OK, no one but Kate can come out of the hospital looking like she's ready for a photo shoot. The Duchess of Cambridge has made the tradition of posing for a few quick snaps outside of the hospital with her newborns, and the dress choices have been bright and feminine. For Prince George's birth, Kate stepped out in a blue polka-dot look from Jenny Packham. For Princess Charlotte's royal debut, Kate wore a summery yellow dress from the same brand. Will she opt for Jenny Packham again when revealing her third child to the public? Only time will tell.

In 2018, we not only have Meghan's royal wedding to look forward to but also Princess Eugenie's. She will say her "I dos" to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12, 2018. The wedding is expected to take place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor (where Meghan and Prince Harry will also marry), and there are rumours that Ellie Goulding and Mila Kunis will attend. Nothing is absolute, of course, but it's fun speculating who will be there and what Princess Eugenie will wear. The bride has not confirmed a wedding designer, but did say her gown will not feature "meringue shoulders [because] that's a bit unfashionable." If you take a look at her style history though, you might just come up with some ideas of what the princess will look like on her wedding day.

The Commonwealth Games take place every four years, and the royals are always in attendance. You might remember Kate's blue dress from the games in 2014.

This year, the event is taking place from April 4 to 15 in Australia. While Kate could be absent from the occasion altogether (she is due to give birth in April), we're hoping Meghan might make an appearance. If she does, our eyes will be on her outfit.
