Popsugar Living Day Of The Dead See Disneyland's New Day of the Dead Ice Cream Sandwich Disneyland's Day of the Dead Ice Cream Sandwich Is Made With Multi-Coloured Pan Dulce! 10 September 2019 by Chanel Vargas View this post on Instagram A post shared by V e r °o° n i c a (@v3ro_ceci) on Sep 7, 2019 at 1:29pm PDT If Disney's Halloween treats are already making your mouth water, then prepare yourself for the park's first Dia De Los Muertos Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich. Yep, in honour of Day of the Dead, Disneyland has taken an entire concha and stuffed it with dulce de leche ice cream! The frozen treat, available for $8 at Frontierland's Rancho del Zocalo in Disneyland, is sprinkled in cinnamony churro streusel crumbles and topped with whipped cream, cajeta — a goat-milk-based caramel syrup — and an edible white chocolate sugar skull for decoration, according to Disney Food Blog. So, are you hungry yet? Following the Mexican tradition of using bright colours as a celebration of life, the shell-like concha breads are also covered in a crunchy rainbow sugar crust, which makes them look both delicious and totally Insta-worthy. Keep scrolling to take a closer work at the beautiful ice cream sandwiches ahead.
