Celebrate Midsummer's Day in Sweden

Though Sweden falls at the more expensive end of the holiday spectrum, its Midsummer's Day celebration is one you won't want to miss.

Each year on Midsummer's Eve (in this case, June 23, 2018), cities across Sweden embrace the Summer solstice by donning flower crowns (or krans, traditionally associated with good health), hosting maypole dances, and even burning bonfires here and there. It's a magical occasion and arguably a better excuse to sport floral headwear than Coachella.
