The climate of the country is subtropical, so depending on the time of year you go, you can expect warm weather, balmy days and nights, and sometimes the potential for rainstorms — especially during wetter months like June. While days can be hot (average temperatures can range from the 80s to 90s), the evenings can cool down to the 60s and 70s November through March.
I was in the country for eight days in early December, travelling along the northern coast through country, jungle, and beach landscapes, and experienced sun every day but one rainy afternoon in Havana.
