Prince George Turns 5! Take a Peek at His Smiley New Birthday Portrait
Can you believe Prince George is turning five this year?! Compared to the sweet photo taken on his fourth birthday in 2017, the adorable royal looks all-grown up in his smiley new portrait, which Prince William and Kate Middleton released the day before his July 22 birthday via Kengsington Palace's Instagram. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark his fifth birthday," the caption reads. "Thank you everyone for your lovely messages." George can be seen flashing a huge grin in his usual white and blue polo shirt and navy shorts. Pretty cute, huh?
This year will no doubt be an especially exciting one for George, seeing as he's now a big brother two times over. Will and Kate welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, in May, and George recently attended his little brother's christening along with sister Princess Charlotte. On top of that, George — who is the future heir to the British throne — also stole hearts at uncle Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle in May. We can't wait to see where else the year takes him.
