Kristy Swanson steps into the role as the stake-wielding Buffy whose trained to fight vampires by a man named Merrick Jamison-Smythe (Donald Sutherland). She soon helps fellow student Oliver Pike (Luke Perry) learn the way of vampire slaying as they prepare for the ultimate supernatural battle.
