A young boy named Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) has the ability to — you guessed it — see dead people. It's a dark secret that he keeps from everyone, except psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis). Together, they try to figure out what Cole's powers entail, which rouses something sinister.
