Comedian Jim Gaffigan has been at home with his wife and five kids for the last five weeks, but don't worry, he's "not crazy." Though, he is "getting there." The comedian is home and all is well with his family, which is of course something he's grateful for, but as is the case for many of us, being home with kids for this long has been an eye-opening experience for him. In a hilarious video posted to Facebook, Jim shares a look at what life with his five kids — Jack, Michael, Marre, Patrick, and Katie — has been like since they hunkered down to social distance at home. Spoiler alert: it's been pretty messy.

"Feels like that scene in the movie Groundhog Day," he starts, sharing a clip from the 1993 comedy. "Except, unlike Bill Murray's character, it's not Groundhog Day for me. It's January first after a New Year's Eve party I wasn't invited to. Every morning as I walk out to greet my true friend, the coffeemaker, I see the remnants of some phantom party. A can, a wrapper, some crumbs strategically placed to invite mice or bugs. It's my children. They're vandals. They're doing it on purpose to torture me."

Jim then cuts to a variety of clips featuring his kids in which he shows them where the trash can is located and alerts them to pieces of rubbish they're existing next to, like an empty can in his daughter's bed. "They're savages. My wife and I have tried — we've tried to civilize them. We tell them how to sit, how to eat, how to comb your hair . . . I should go, I can hear them planning their next mess." We feel you, Jim. Hang in there!
