There are Black women in every sector of the travel industry, and if you love hiking, be sure to follow Eritrean-American writer Rahawa Haile. Rahawa is currently working on a book for HarperCollins on the Appalachian Trail after being one of the few people of colour to complete the entire trail hike. She shares snippets of her love of the outdoors and the hiking industry, as well as her thoughts on travel and movement for Black women in small-town America, specifically in the north and south along the trail.
