Travel writer Imani Bashir is a full-time expat with her husband and adorable toddler son. (She actually lived in Wuhan at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.) A global diversity advocate, Imani shares her perspective on being a Muslim Black woman abroad, pregnancy risk, and other women's issues. Already teaching the next generation, Imani is also the author of Follow the Takeoff Toddler, a children's book series that helps cement a love of travel in kids from an early age.
