Raquel Welch

Raquel Welch, longtime actor and Golden Globe winner, died on 15 Feb. at age 82, People confirmed. Her manager, Steve Sauer, issued a statement to the outlet that said she "passed away peacefully early this morning after a brief illness." According to Sauer, Welch's career "spanned over 50 years starring in over 30 films and 50 television series and appearances."

Welch was best known for her roles in 1966's "Fantastic Voyage," "One Million Years B.C.," and 1973's "The Three Musketeers," which earned her a Golden Globe trophy for best actress in a motion picture comedy or musical.
