The lead guitarist of The Script, Mark Sheehan, died at the age of 46, it was announced on 14 April. Sheehan formed the band alongside Danny O'Donoghue and Glen Power, and they released hit singles including "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" and "We Cry". The band tweeted: "Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness. The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time."
