Jimmy Fallon "Thank You Notes" Segment With Kids, March 2021

Jimmy Fallon Did His Weekly "Thank You Notes" Segment at Home With His Kids, and It Was Chaotic

Jimmy Fallon got help filming an at-home episode of The Tonight Show from his two daughters, Winnie, 7, and Franny, 6. In a special episode in honour of the one-year anniversary of his first-ever at-home show — which aired March 17, 2020 — Jimmy had his kiddos assist him with his weekly "Thank You Notes" segment, and it was hilariously chaotic.

After a little cheek from Franny saying that she did, in fact, "mind" if he filmed his thank-you notes in front of them, she finally agreed to play the segment's signature music on an iPad while Winnie held up photos in the background. "Thank you, Oscar pools, March Madness brackets, and my taxes for being the three times a year I fill out paperwork solely through guessing," Jimmy said before giving a nod to Michelle Obama's new Netflix show, Waffles + Mochi.

Although Franny was supposed to be in charge of the music, Jimmy admitted midway through the clip that he "lost" her, as she was busy playing with a doll. He continued with the segment, poking fun at Heinz's new line of condiments and thanking pogo sticks for being "jackhammers that just wanna have fun," all while trying to get Franny and Winnie to focus on their jobs. Ah, if this three-minute video doesn't sum up what it's like to be a parent, we're not sure what does!
