Thanks to the even separation of bristles on a straight wand, the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast High Definition Mascara (£10.50) coats each lash quickly, adding volume and length without that dreaded spidery effect. It's definitely on the more dramatic end of the mascara spectrum, so not one for the natural-effect lash-lovers. The only downside to this mascara is that it can smudge (particularly on the eyelid) before completely drying.
