Two years after Nars launched its Climax Mascara, the brand introduces the Climax Extreme Mascara (£22), which is exactly what the product name suggests — a more extreme version of the original. That means more volume and more intense pigment. For the past month, we tested out both formulas to be able to compare the two and found that the new version added more volume and bulked up lashes faster (in practically one coat), while the pigment was a deeper, inkier shade of black that's so dark, it creates the illusion that you're wearing eyeliner even when you're not.
