Where they met: "Evening"
Hugh Dancy and Claire Danes starred as lovers in the 2006 film "Evening," and became instant friends after meeting on set. Danes later discussed meeting her costar with Marie Claire in February 2017, "I was very recently single, and I had never been single before, so we were just friends for a while." Soon, however, the friendship blossomed into a romance, and they started dating shortly after.
In February 2009, the pair got engaged and by September, the couple tied the knot privately in France, as reported by People. In December 2012, Dancy and Danes had their first child, Cyrus, and another child, Rowan, in August 2018. The pair continue to grow their family, and announced in January 2023 that they are expecting their third child together, per People.
