Where they met: "Brokeback Mountain"
Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger met while filming "Brokeback Mountain" in 2004, and started dating immediately, per InStyle. Williams and Ledger were engaged just months later, and by October 2005, they welcomed their first child, Matilda. The pair juggled working with parenting, but their relationship ultimately came to an end in September 2007. Ledger died of an accidental overdose in January 2008, but Williams still speaks highly of their time together. "Our initial meeting, the circumstances of how we first met, were cosmic or something…It's a bit like: We had a lot of things to do, because we didn't have a lot of time, or something," she explained to GQ in 2012.
