Where they met: "Black Swan"
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied first connected on the set of "Black Swan" in 2009. According to Good Housekeeping, Millepied was in charge of choreographing Portman's ballet scenes, which led the two to get to know one another pretty well. Shortly after working together, Portman and Millepied started quietly dating throughout 2010, and in December 2010, the couple not only announced their engagement, but they also shared that they were expecting a child together, as reported by People.
The two welcomed their son Aleph in June 2011, and said "I do" in August 2012. Five years after their nuptials, Portman and Millepied had their second child, Amaila, in February 2017. The lovebirds celebrated their 10-year anniversary in August 2022, and Portman took to Instagram to commemorate the milestone, writing, "Ten years today @benjaminmillepied, and it keeps getting better…"
